What this tool counts
Words, characters (with and without spaces), sentences, paragraphs, lines, average words per sentence, and estimated reading time. The reading time estimate uses 225 words per minute, which is the average adult reading speed for online content. It also ranks your most-used keywords with a count and density percentage for each.
Keyword density
The keyword breakdown lists your top 10 words with how many times each appears and what share of the text it makes up. Turn on "Ignore common words" to skip filler like "the", "and", and "of" so the meaningful terms rise to the top. It's handy for checking whether an article leans on the right topic words without overstuffing them.
How to use it
