Crop PDF

Trim the margins off a PDF's pages.

Trim the margins off a PDF by shaving a set amount from each edge of every page. Good for cropping out scanner borders or extra whitespace. It all runs in your browser - nothing is uploaded.

About Crop PDF

Crop a PDF by trimming a set amount off the top, right, bottom, and left of every page. Set the margins in millimeters, points, or inches and crop the whole file or just the pages you pick. It runs entirely in your browser with a JavaScript PDF engine, so the file never gets uploaded.

What this tool does

Upload a PDF, type how much to shave off each edge, and download a cropped copy. The page box is shrunk to what's left, so readers, browsers, and printers all show the smaller page. Pick a unit that suits you - millimeters, PDF points, or inches - and limit the crop to a page range if you only need some pages trimmed.

Runs entirely in your browser

A crop only rewrites each page's boxes, and that edit runs inside your browser. The document itself stays put on your machine, and with the page already loaded the tool doesn't need a connection at all.

When you'd use it

  • Cutting the black borders off pages from a scanner
  • Removing the wide white margins of an article so it fills an e-reader or tablet screen
  • Trimming a slide deck exported with extra padding
  • Standardizing odd-sized pages before printing
